Need a Fully Custom Solution?

For unique requirements, our expert team can build a bespoke solution from scratch or heavily customize the core platform for you. This also includes full source code ownership.

What you're actually taking ownership of

Five layers, each fully yours once the code is transferred.

Backend

PHP API layer

Host on-premise, in your own datacenter, or a private cloud. No dependency on RemitSo's infrastructure once transferred.

Database

Full data ownership

Customer, transaction, and KYC data stay inside your infrastructure from day one — supports data-residency requirements.

Front-End

Admin panel & web app

Backoffice UI — onboarding, transactions, corridors, fees, compliance

Customer web app — the send-money experience

Mobile

Flutter app, full source

Single codebase for iOS and Android — the real thing, not a limited demo build.

Integrations

KYC & payment rails

Pre-built patterns for KYC/AML providers and payment gateways; anything further is reachable through the existing API.

Maintenance

6 + 12 + 12 months

Implementation support, then critical bug fixes, then platform updates. Full scope in the Support section below.

RemitSo source code vs. building in-house

Consideration RemitSo Source Code In-House Build
Initial Investment Moderate Very High
Customization & Control Full Full
Long-Term Cost Low (One-Time Fee) Very High
Long-Term Cost Direct Partnership Internal Only

Six steps, from first call to owning the code

Every step is designed so you can walk away before committing.

01
Technical Consultation

Align RemitSo's capabilities with your corridors, compliance needs, and integrations. You leave with scoped technical documentation.

02
Commercial Offer

A written proposal with a clear pricing breakdown — license, audit costs, support options. No surprises before you sign.

03
Contract Signing

The agreement covering scope, pricing, and licensing terms. Signing unlocks the audit phase.

04
Live Code Audit

Hands-on access to the source in an isolated environment, backed by docs and scheduled Q&A.

05
Decision Point

Raise any outstanding questions. Once resolved, both sides sign off to proceed — or don't.

06
Secure Code Transfer

Full source delivered to your private repository, with deployment support from our engineers.

Inside the Audit

What each specialist actually does

Open the section for your role.

Environment setup, repository access, API structure review, and an SDLC walkthrough covering how features move from request through to production.

Architecture walkthrough, local development environment, API documentation, and a QA testing session against your own test cases.

Project structure, module overview, local build environment, generating iOS and Android builds, and testing on emulator or device.

Deployment pipeline overview, branching model, automated testing stages, and the production release process.

Domain logic, roles and permissions, wallet and ledger architecture, transaction flows, and compliance workflows — explained against the live code.

Everything else buyers ask

Straight answers, before you're on a call.

Is the $77,999 license fee a one-time payment, or are there recurring costs?

One-time. You own the code outright — no license renewal, no per-seat fee, no revenue share. Ongoing costs are the ones you'd expect for any platform you run yourself: hosting, your own team, and any third-party services you connect, like payment gateways or KYC providers.

Yes. The Live Code Audit is step 4 of the acquisition process — it happens after contract signing but before the code transfer, so your engineers work directly in the codebase before anything is finalized. See "Six steps" above for how it fits into the process.

The exact window is confirmed as part of your commercial offer, scoped to your team's size and how deep a review you want to run. Ask your RemitSo rep for specifics before you block out your audit team's calendar.

That's what the Decision Point (step 5) is for. You raise any outstanding questions or concerns, RemitSo responds, and both sides sign off before the code transfer happens. If it's not a fit, you walk away at that point.

Fewer people can cover it by wearing multiple hats, but each of the five domains needs someone with real expertise reviewing it — a generalist skimming PHP won't catch what a senior backend engineer will. If you're short-staffed, ask your RemitSo rep about audit support before the process begins.

No. White-labeling means running on RemitSo's platform under your brand — RemitSo still owns and maintains the code. A source code license transfers the actual code to you; from that point, you own, host, and maintain it independently.

Yes — it's unencrypted, full source, and it's yours. Customizing it further, adding corridors, or building new features are all normal after transfer. One note: changes you make yourself fall outside the defect-fixing and vulnerability-management coverage described in Support, above.

Nothing is revoked — you keep the code and everything already delivered. Continued defect fixes, updates, or support beyond the included windows would need a separate arrangement; talk to your RemitSo rep if you want extended coverage in place before the first 12 months are up.

You are. Once the code is transferred, uptime, incident response, and infrastructure SLAs sit with your team — see "Full control comes with full responsibility" above. RemitSo's commitment is to the quality of the code delivered and the defect/vulnerability coverage in Support.

The license covers the platform as it stands — backend, admin panel, web app, mobile app, and their documented integrations. It doesn't include ongoing hosting, third-party service fees (payment gateways, KYC providers), custom feature development, or support beyond the included windows.

Yes — that's the first CTA on this page. A demo and initial technical consultation typically happen before any commercial offer is drawn up.
