Compliance

KYC, AML And Sanctions Tools That Flag. Your Team Decides.

RemitSo checks every customer and every transfer, and brings what needs a person to your compliance team. The decision, and the judgement behind it, is always theirs.

How it works

The tool checks and flags. Your team rules.

Read across each row: what the platform does on the left, what your compliance team does on the right.

AreaThe toolYour compliance team

Identity checks (KYC)

Checks the ID document, selfie and live face, matches the name to the profile, and keeps the evidence with the result.

Approves or overrules. An overrule needs a reason, and the reason is kept with the record.

Sanctions screening

Screens every sender, recipient and staff member against eight lists, loaded nightly. Everyone is re-screened when they change. A possible match holds the transfer.

Dismisses or confirms each match. Rulings are kept per person, so a cleared name is not flagged again.

Risk rules

Checks each transfer against your rules, built from 46 ready-made risk indicators. Transfers that pass flow on; the rest are held.

Writes the rules, then reviews each held transfer and decides.

Limits and documents

Applies your “up to” amounts per transaction and over a day, week, month, 90 days or year, and asks the customer for the documents each tier names.

Sets the tiers per currency and corridor. Above the top tier, an officer raises the limit.

Regulator reports

Builds the report file from your transfers (AUSTRAC IFTI-E today, in Excel or CSV) and checks it against every transfer in scope.

Reviews the file and lodges it with the regulator, on time.

Staff training (add-on)

Assigns courses, sends reminders and keeps a permanent record.

Marks and signs off. Nobody signs off their own training.

Where the tool stops

Three things we never do.

We don’t make the decision

The tool flags and holds. A person on your team rules on every match, every held transfer and every raised limit.

We don’t file for you

We build and check the report file. Your team reviews it and lodges it with your regulator.

We aren’t your compliance officer

Your AML programme, your risk assessment and your officers’ judgement stay yours, as does your licence.

Questions

Compliance tools, answered.

Ask us anything →
Does RemitSo make compliance decisions?

No. The platform checks every customer and transfer and flags what needs a person. Your compliance team makes every decision.

Can my team overrule an automatic check?

Yes. A reviewer can overrule an identity check or a risk flag. The reason is kept with the record.

Does a sanctions match block the transfer?

The transfer waits until an officer on your team dismisses or confirms the match. Nothing is decided by the match itself.

Can we set our own rules and limits?

Yes. You combine the 46 risk indicators into your own rules, and set limits and document requests per currency and corridor.

Who lodges reports with the regulator?

Your team. The platform builds the file and checks it against every transfer in scope; you review it and lodge it.

Built by people who have helped MSBs for years.

The risk checks on every online transfer come from what they see every day.

  • The person paying isn't the customer
  • One bank account, several customers
  • A disposable email address
  • Sign-in from a high-risk location
  • The same person signing up twice
  • A name close to a sanctions list
